2012 Regional Science Fair HAT Smart Winners

The City of Medicine Hat’s HAT Smart program sponsored the “HAT Smart awards” at this year’s Kiwanis Southeast Alberta Science Fair at the Medicine Hat College.

The awards were presented to students who best represented the ideals of the HAT Smart program under one of the seven categories representing the Community Environmental Roadmap Survey, from which the HAT Smart program evolved: Land/surface, renewable energy, energy conservation, water conservation, water quality, waste and recycling and air quality.

The three winners were Lucas Keinick, Kariann Szemethy and Braydon Thompson
