When do the seminars take place?

The seminars are held on the first Wednesday of every month.

Where are the seminars held?

The seminars are held at City Hall Council Chambers (580 – First Street SE, Medicine Hat).  This is located on the Main Floor of City Hall.

When is the next seminar?

How long is the seminar?

The seminar runs from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

How long will the City host these seminars?

The City of Medicine Hat is hosting seminars until March 2011.

How much does it cost to attend the seminar?

The seminars are free of charge.

Do I have to register to attend?

No. Everyone is welcome to attend.

What is the $100 HAT Smart discount?

The $100 HAT Smart discount is applied to a residential energy assessment. It is available to homeowners who are Medicine Hat utility customers. You must participate in a seminar to receive the discount.

I watched the seminar online. Do I still get the HAT Smart discount?

Yes. Providing you meet the other criteria, watching the seminar online qualifies you to receive the HAT Smart discount the same as if you were to see it in person.

Do I have to live in Medicine Hat to qualify for the $100 HAT Smart discount?

No. If you receive at least one City utility (gas, water, electricity) then you qualify for the $100 HAT Smart discount.
