MHPL Thermal Imaging Camera
Members of the public are now able to borrow a thermal imaging camera from the Medicine Hat Public Library. With the camera, it is possible to find moisture leaks, air infiltration, 'hot' electrical connections, and insulation problems. The camera can check for air tightness, proper window and door installations, weatherstripping adjustments, inefficient heating and ventilation ducting, water damage, and missing insulation.
The camera is available to be borrowed from the Medicine Hat Public Library similar to any other part of their collection. The loan period is three weeks and all that is required is a Medicine Hat Public Library Adult Card.
